OPI – Coca Cola Collection

Have you seen that OPI has teamed up with Coca Cola to create their newest collection? I got all excited seeing promo pics. I was especially curious to the green/brown duo chrome. I feel like 90% of this collection is right up my alley. Red, pink, purple and duo chrome. Therefore I couldn’t resist on buying the entire 9 piece collection. Like that’s an excuse to buy more polish *ahum*… Let’s take a look!Look at these beauties:Swatches and review below! 😉

First up Coca-Cola Red. What can I say? It’s the perfect coca-cola red with a great formula. This is two coats plus top coat.
I used one coat of the red/gold glitter topper on my accent nail. This is called Orange You Fantastic!. The glitter is swimming in a sheer orange/yellow base. I’m not a fan of this one. Maybe it’s the slightly colored base? I don’t know but to me it looks like the glitter has bleed color. My Signature Is ‘DC’, is a silver foil polish. Not sure whether to like this one or not. I used three thin coats with no top coat here. The formula is good. You can get away with two coats. Today I Accomplished Zero is a black jelly base packed with reddish pink hex glitter in two sizes. The first coat was sheer but a second coat made it completely opaque. Shown is two coats plus top coat:Get Cherried Away instantly made me think of OPI’s Casino Royale. I love this kind of purple creams. The formula is great. This is two coats plus top coat:Here’s a comparison of Get Cherried Away (index & ring) and Casino Royale (middle & pinky). Formula wise they’re pretty much the same. Color wise I’d say they’re in the same family but definitely not dupes. Get Cherried Away is more purple while Casino Royale has a more burgundy tone to it. You’re So Vain-illa is a beige cream. Personally I prefer pink/peach or grey toned nude’s with my skin tone. It’s a nice shade though. I found it to be a little streaky which made me needed to apply three thin coats to have an opaque finish. With a top coat it looks okay:A Grape Affair is a dark purple cream. Great color and formula. Two coats plus top coat:My favorite one of this collection is Green On The Runway (Who would have thought that :p). This is a green/brown duo chrome. I only used two coats plus top coat for the pics below 🙂One more to show the color shift:Lastly a gorgeous light pink cream called Sorry I’m Fizzy Today.
