China Glaze: Rendezvous With You

Stamping? I gave that up a long time ago. I’ve seen so many amazing new plates lately and even more amazing designs created with them I thought it was time to give it another try. But not before searching for a new stamper. I’ve found an XL stamper and scraper at Hypnotic Polish and went for it. This is my first attempt after a long time so please bear with me.

For the design I used Essie‘s No Place Like Chrome and a Sci-Fi (5) plate from MoYou, which you can also find at Hypnotic Polish.

Essie: No Place Like Chrome

Before we jump in to Essie’s No Place Like Chrome and an easy and fun way to turn it into a big eye catcher, I like to give all the girls that have participated in the 30 day challenge a big pat on the shoulder. Great job girls! I’ve seen so much amazing works of art. Very inspiring! Lovely!

Okay, on to today’s mani: No Place Like Chrome by Essie from their Mirror Metallic Collection is a silver metallic/chrome. It’s opaque in one (slightly thicker) easy and quick drying coat, but I used two thin coats here. I advice to use a good ridgefiller before applying this because without it -as with all metallics/chromes- you’ll see every imperfection on your nails. essie no place like chromeessie no place like chrome2foilThis polish screamed for an ‘out of space’ nail art. I chose to add three different colors of foil. This is the easiest way to turn a ‘regular’ mani in to a big eye catcher! I added some splots of foil glue with a small nail art brush. After that was dry I randomly ‘dabbed’ on the foil 😀foil40foil2
Have you used foil for a manicure already?
