Colors by Llarowe: Talk to the Hand

Hello beauties,

Today I have Llarowe‘s polish of the month September to show you. This reminds me that I’m so incredibly far behind with posting all the gorgeous polishes here… sorry lovelies, I’ll try my best!
Take a look at Talk To The Hand:It’s probably not a surprise that I love this one since purple is one of my fave colors 🙂 This is two easy coats with top coat. Unfortunately the sun let me down the day I photographed this, so these are made in natural daylight. Nevertheless, it’s beautiful, right?!What’s your fave color if it comes to nail polish?

Llarowe: Fast Girls – Go Faster Collection

Recently Leah-Ann released her Go Faster Collection which consists of 5 new limited edition polishes. Today I like to show you Fast Girls:This is much brighter in person. The macro shot below is more true to color. I love this bright pink jelly. It has a gorgeous purple shimmer in it. Llarowe: My Own Private Paradise

Hi sweeties!

I’ve read great things about the Creative Shop stamper lately and decided to give it a try. I still need to get the hang of it since it’s quite big but so far so good. For this mani I used two coats of My Own Private Paradise by Llarowe as my base color. For the design I went with number 03 from the ProXL range by MoYou. And the stamping polishes are both by Mundo de Unas, 29 Neon Pink and 1 White. As for the stamping polish, I became a huge fan of Mundo de Unas. The only down sides in my opinion are the overwhelming smell and the fact that there are no mixing balls in the bottles which makes shaking difficult. I’ve read though that future batches do come with mixing beads which is a great plus since the polish is quite thick and therefore difficult to mix. I’ve ordered my latest bottles directly from their website. Since they’re based in Mexico it takes a long time to get here. I believe I’ve waited about 6 weeks for them to arrive. Then again, they’re totally worth the wait.Thanks for stopping by! :*

Llarowe: Pirates Of Penzance

Hi lovelies!

One of my fave red polishes is The Mighty Red Baron by Llarowe. And since I just can’t have enough red polishes (and purple’s, pink’s and blue’s for that matter) I picked up Pirates Of Penzance a while back. And boy, I love it:This one is super pigmented, nearly a one coater. I used two coats plus top coat for my photo’s. Thankfully we have lots of sunshine these days here in The Netherlands so I could take some sunny photo’s. Please excuse the weird bump on my index nail Bumping into stuff with freshly painted nails happens… ugh!And below you see how it looks in natural daylight without direct sunlight:Such a rich hue of red!:*

Llarowe: Lethal

Hi lovelies!

Every day I see more and more gorgeous mani’s created with nail vinyls. So I finally decided to order some and give them a go. I started with one coat of Lethal by Llarowe over a black base and topped it with fast drying top coat. Then I used the oval cyclone vinyls by TwinkledT and applied Mark Needs Love Too, also by Llarowe. Top coat and done! 😀 Obviously I need to practice the placement of the vinyls some more but I’m pretty pleased with how these turned out. What do you think of these? do you have any experience with nail vinyls?

Hello beauties!

Here’s another creation by Llarowe for you. This is Look At Me, I’m Sandra Dee:I am in love with the pink specks in this one. I used three thin coats plus top coat but I think two would be fine. Any thoughts about this unusual polish? I love it!

Llarowe: 976-Babe

Hi lovelies!

If you like lots and lots of sunshine in a way that it almost feels tropical, The Netherlands is the right place to be today. My lord… I do like sunshine and love it when it’s a nice warm temperature but this is just too much. I bet lots of people absolutely love this kind of temperatures. I sure don’t. The downside of this weather is that thunderstorm afterwards is guaranteed. For those of you who admire the sunshine today: enjoy and please don’t get toasted by the sunbeams!
Anyway… here’s a perfect polish for this weather… holo!

Llarowe: Rest In Pieces – New Year, New CbL Collection

Hello!

Take a look at this stunning blurple holographic hue:Meet Rest In Pieces from the New Year, New CbL Collection by Llarowe. Such a fantastic color! And it also has blue micro shimmer in the mix. Sadly, the sun refused to show up when I took photo’s so I don’t have a sunny pic. You can really see the holo rainbow when the sun (or bright lighting) hits it. The formula is great. I used two easy coats plus top coat here.

Super Easy Water Marble, for real!

Watermarble nail art… A hot mess? Fail? 9 times out of ten yes. But here’s a super easy technique with NO mess, NO bubbles and NO screw ups. For real! I used three coats of Barney by Llarowe as my base color. For the marble design I also used Vivian + Edward and What’s Your Dream?, both by Llarowe. How to? Go ahead and create your design in a cup of room temperature water as you’d do with a ‘regular’ watermarble. Let it dry for a few minutes. If the design got stuck to the side walls of the cup, now is the time to gently make sure it get’s ‘loose’ from the side walls. Now let it dry for another 15 minutes or so. When dry, gently pick up the design with tweezers and blow dry of pat dry with for example a piece of kitchen paper. When the design is dry you can cut it into pieces as desired. You can even cut it in the shape of your entire nail(s) to get a full coverage ‘decal’. Apply top coat and place the pieces on the nail. Finish with top coat and you’re done! Have you already used this technique? If not, just give it a try 😉
